Panties
To the north of Portugal, over Oporto, we find Panties, a city full of delight that you must not exclude in your trip route.

Panties are one of the most beautiful cities of Portugal, with large number of impressive Baroque monuments, including one of more acquaintances of the country, the sanctum Bom Jesus do Monte, placed in the surroundings of the city.
The city of Panties is placed in the north part of Portugal, to approximately 55 Km to the north of Oporto. The city was founded by a Celtic tribe called Bracari and later it was occupied by the Romans.
At present, Panties are a modern city with a young population, with busy streets due to the commerce and the industry that surrounds a boisterous and attractive old town replete with cobbled streets.
Panties are an exponent of an extraordinary diversity of architectural styles, example of it its cathedral is, with styles like the Romanesque one, the Gothic, the Manuelino (typical of Portugal), and the Baroque, all of them joined with a surprising harmony. In its interior we can find pieces as a baroque organ, a work of art with sprinklings in gold and adorned with cherubs and marine creatures.

Panties are provided with an approximate population of 155.000 inhabitants in the urban area. It is one of the most important urban centers of Portugal after the nuclei of Oporto or Lisbon, much denser.
